Really neat area to walk. Just wear boots if it has rained in the previous days. Bug spray would be good to have too! Neat area to see a lock and old bridge.

This is an unpaved gravel surface parking area. There is a single portable toilet located at the Trailhead end of the parking lot. Plenty of parking room on weekdays but can get full on weekends.
