Here are my complaints: Wood chips are a nuisance especially when e-bikers scatter them all over the place. I have spent countless hours sweeping them back where they belong. Dog owners didn’t always pick up poop. Kids like to play in the grass and that is where I have found many piles. Also, whoever visits the park at night always left piles of garbage strewn all over the place. It has gotten to the point where I may look to take my granddaughter somewhere else. I wish people would take responsibility for their actions but I suppose that is asking too much these days.
This park was lonely lonely. Nice playground with little shade water was off, and it was really hot there was one dad and his boy looking for info about the water structure, but there was none so they ended up leaving other than that cute little park.
Took us a minute to figure out how to turn on the splash pad. You just push the button in the middle with your thumb for a few seconds
Gorgeous quiet place to hangout & catch some very warm & excellent feeling sun! ☀️🌞☀️Plus it’s such a big park there’s plenty of quieter areas for even the adults to hangout!ONLY thing I wasn’t happy with was not being able to charge my phone like most parks in the East Bay Area otherwise it’s an absolutely gorgeous park for kids & adults!!
Beautiful park and well maintained. Looking forward to the new play structure and watching kids have the best time ever! Great size for dogs to run and play and families picnic and play sports. The water feature is great fun on hot days. Wish I lived across street from it, a lovely view from front porch. I walk around Ravenswood everyday and enjoy its beauty.
