Dickinson Dog Park in Dickinson, North Dakota, offers an expansive, clean, and well-maintained space for dogs of all sizes to enjoy. This pet-friendly destination features large, securely fenced zones for both small and large dogs, making it a favorite spot for local dog owners and travelers alike. Known for its welcoming community and easily accessible location, the park is an excellent place for your furry friend to socialize, exercise, or just burn off some energy while you relax nearby.
Dog owners will appreciate amenities like water access via a tap (bring your own bowl), benches and shaded seating, onsite waste stations with provided poop bags, agility equipment—particularly in the large dog area—and plenty of trash bins to keep the park tidy. Agility enthusiasts will find tunnels and log features, while a separate small dog area ensures a safe space for petite pups. Whether passing through or living in Dickinson, this dog park stands out for its size, cleanliness, and thoughtful amenities.
Great dog park i just wish they had some tunnels and fun stuff on the small dog side too.
Just travelling through, but my baby needs some run around so she doesn’t get the 80 lb 3 am zoomies in a hotel room. It could use a bit more shade, but still quite functional!
Water at a tap, may need to bring your own bowl. The big dog side had a broken latch that was temporarily (I hope) bandaged with a Bungie cord. But the place was clean, the dogs and people were friendly, and the grass was tasty (so my dog claims – I didn’t taste it).
Wonderful, safe, and clean place to stop with the dogs. Massive fenced area for both small and large dogs, water was available, agility setup, benches. There was not a lot of poop, people seem to clean up after their dogs. There was nothing dangerous the dogs could hurt themselves on. Tons of trash cans, empty with no flies. They really take care of this place and it shows. I will be stopping in the town of Dickinson just for this dog park each time we are up this way.
Super cute park with lots of play fixtures for your pupperz. They have separate small and large dog areas, water available, a shaded place to sit, and poo bags as well as a place to dispose it. There wasn’t any other dogs there while we were there but it was clean and well cared for. Nice and tucked away from the busy streets. The restrooms across the way were closed when we were there.
When you first drive upon this place you notice the sheer size. Coming from Washington even the fenced area is accommodating. They have a large dog and small dog area. The large dog area has 3 tunnels and some logs to play on. Although the best features to me are the hose for water outside the gate and the poop bags they provide. There was not very much poop when we went a could days ago!! Definitely check this place out 🙂
