We went to the river near the dam so I could fish and try to teach my son to fish. We didn’t catch anything, unfortunately. But we saw someone leave with about a 20-inch rainbow! It was nice and relaxing, though. Hardly anyone there, and it wasn’t as hot as it is in town. Definitely want to go back!

Nice, clean recreation area with a top notch disc golf course. Fantastic scenery. 18 hole par 3 disc golf course. Great balance or wooded and open shots. Also there’s a few uphill shots along with some downhill ones…good elevation changes to mix it up. Nice tee pads and signage. Keep an eye on your disc!!
