Lucy’s Dog Park is a favorite spot for local pet owners, conveniently located at 301 W Elk St in Dexter, Missouri. This well-kept dog park is designed with the needs of both large and small dogs in mind, featuring two separate fenced areas so your furry friend can play safely based on their size. The park is praised for its cleanliness and makes an excellent stop for travelers and locals looking for a dog-friendly destination to stretch their legs.
There are shade trees for comfort, picnic tables for a relaxing break, and water fountains for both humans and pups—perfect for hot days in Dexter. The park is open from sunrise to 10 pm, making it a flexible option for outings. Though no toys are provided and some rules may restrict certain breeds and outside toys, Lucy’s Dog Park offers a welcoming community vibe, with plenty of space for running, playing, and making new friends in this family-friendly area.
My pups loved the running room and space!
Well kept dog park with a few shade trees. It made for a nice stop in the middle of a long drive. Picnic table and water fountain for humans and pups.
The sign says open sunrise to 10 pm, but the gates were locked and there is ZERO lighting. The breed specific ban is utterly asinine. No “home” toys allowed and I didn’t see any toys provided, so….I guess the breeds of dogs allowed at the park are supposed to just enjoy being in a fence. No frisbees or balls for fetch allowed inside this unlit, unwelcoming, exclusive, chainlink fence! The dog park in Poplar Bluff is a much better option for anyone else not allowed in Dexter.
Absolute amazing addition to our community! There’s two separate areas: one for smaller dogs & and one for larger dogs to help keep your fur babies safe.
Very nice I love it. Their are some ladys that don’t like my dogs
