Very large and spacious, appeared to have only one shed. Didn’t see a restroom nor Fountain. Believe there was a play scape near the Michigan Avenue end. The was drag racing and people doing burn outs on the adjacent street (St. John). Be mindful where you step as there was drug paraphernalia in the parking lot.
Awesome renovations made to the park. Basketball courts are awesome now stamped with the pistons logos on all 3 courts. New nets and goal posts for I think 5 soccer fields. Nice new sidewalk for walking around the park for exercise. And great new children’s playground, swings, slides, and many new things.
Ok
Great park to walk the track, play soccer, basketball, have a picnic, etc. Nice place to eat lunch and just relax.
A very pretty park filled with trees, surrounded by a lovely view. The park is very clean, serene and well kept. There’s a gazebo near the entrance and a sidewalk leading from the gazebo deep into the park. It doesn’t seem like many people visit or due to a lack of seating and activities but it would make a great place to walk your dog or get some peace and quiet.
