Riverside Dog Park

Riverside Dog Park is a well-maintained and spacious dog park offering beautiful views of the river and the Ambassador Bridge. It features a large gated area where dogs can play off-leash and has nice paved walking paths for humans. The park has seating available and some shaded areas, especially on the large dog side. It is wheelchair accessible and suitable for children. While the park is generally clean, some visitors noted occasional issues with dogs’ owners not picking up after their pets. Parking is available nearby, and it provides a safe environment with no escape routes for dogs.

Anyone with reactive dogs beware: there is a skate park right outside the dog park entrance. I will never understand the choice to build dog parks adjacent to skate parks. Luckily if you can settle your dog upon entry, you can proceed to the far end of the park out of sight of the skateboards.

Great free dog park! Grass is well maintained, no holes/escape routes for even the tiniest of puppies. There’s not as much shade in the small dog side as there is on the large dog side, but there’s still some shady little trees around.

I like this park quite a bit. It’s got a great walking path for humans and a huge gated area for dogs. It also has a great view of the river and the Ambassador Bridge. It does have some shortcoming though, sometimes the gates are locked for no reason, sometimes the lights are off when they should be on. Sometimes lousy dog owner will just “drop their dogs off” and leave or go hang out in their cars. But the good outweighs the bad

A fun dog park with amazing views of Canada and the bridge. It’s basically clean and well cared for. Lots of room for dogs to run and play off leash. Nice sidewalks to walk.

Very nice dog park. Plenty of benches to sit on. Everyone and their dogs were friendly. My dog Sandy had a blast. It was his first time at a dog park. He was wiped out when we got home. The only bad thing I seen was not everyone picks up their dog poop. Other than that it was a great little place to go to. I’ll definitely be going back
