Balduck Park is a beloved dog park in Detroit located at 18151 E Warren Ave. This spacious public park is pet-friendly and offers a welcoming space for dogs and their owners. Balduck Park is highly praised for its clean and peaceful atmosphere, making it a top spot for locals to enjoy outdoor activities and spend quality time with their pets in a safe environment. The park is also wheelchair accessible, making it easy for everyone to visit.
Balduck Park features a variety of amenities including baseball fields, basketball courts, playgrounds, picnic tables, public restrooms, and barbecue grills. It’s an excellent destination for families, with plenty of space for kids, sports, and, of course, four-legged friends. While specific dog-only features like a fenced or double-gated dog area aren’t clearly noted, the park is known for being open and accommodating to dogs and their owners. If you’re searching for a dog-friendly park or pet-friendly trails in Detroit, Balduck Park is definitely worth checking out.
I came across this park driving through the Groove Pointe area and came back because it was so beautiful, clean, safe and peaceful. This is a wonderful neighborhood and open park space perfect for kids and adults alike.
Thanks to Grace Community Church and Eagle Sports along with the cooperation of the city of Detroit, Balduck Park has become an amazing place to watch and compete with youth league sports.
This was a great dog park! Not super crowded!
One of my favorite parks, clean, plenty of space for family fun, sports, etc. Your kids will love it, also pet friendly. 🫶
Being that it’s a public park, there needs to be restrooms, for both male and female use. Other than that, it’s a very nice spacious place for your family.
