THIS PARK IS AWESOME!! There’s tall grass I can run through, and poop in so Mike never finds it. Why’s he always picking up my poop anyways, freakin’ weirdo if you ask me. There’s like a BAJILLION trees, and all the trees have like a GAZILLION sticks so that’s like a bajilliongillionzillion sticks right? I’m pretty good at math so I’m pretty sure that’s right. One sad thing is there’s like no trash cans in the park, so Mike kept walking back to the entrance and I thought we were leaving-but then we didn’t. And then he walked back again, and my heart raced cause I thought we were leaving, but we didn’t. And then we walked back again, and we left! I really don’t like it when we’re indecisive like stop playing tricks on me. Anyways, cool park, lots of shade, nice grass, really big, 10/10 would park again.

Visiting from out of town, was looking forward to letting our good dog play and stretch his legs.. Found out the gates are locked and permits can only be purchased m-f Office hours. The more we travel Iowa, the more it seems Iowa hates dogs.

All the things you’d look for in a dog park. Nice natural setting around large mature trees with shade. Waste disposal and restroom.

Dedicated space available for smaller dogs. The general space available to all dogs is very large and you’ll always find your own spot in the park.

Parking is convenient too. Located right on a wonderful trail to Easter Lake. Well maintained and clean.

My dog loves it here. Keeping squirrels properly stored in oak trees is a very important job.

We had a beautiful day at the dog park this weekend. We hit just the right part of the day and there were 12 little guys in the small dog park (for 20lbs or less). So much fun!!
