Beautiful! Trails offer varied terrain and some nice views. There are quite a few unmarked trails and the blazes on some of the marked trails aren’t the greatest (spaced very far apart) so you have to be careful about staying on the marked trails.
This place is great for a quick stroll as the path is wide and straight. There are also side trails you can use if you’d prefer a hiking experience. Several trails are highlighted on the all trails app.
Our walk today was cut short
My husband was ahead of me , I noticed he was looking at something , he whispered in my ear there’s a adult bear ahead , crossing the trail. I didnt look. We walked very fast in opposite direction back to the car. It looks like a nice selection of trails, well marked
So beautiful and tranquil, also a great place for birdwatching! If you come in here with your phone speakers blaring, I will personally slap it out of your hand. Stop that.
So tranquil! The trails are short-White, Purple and Red Blaze Trails and pleasant to hike. My daughter and I enjoyed it very much. The White Trails are wide and easy to walk on. A little muddy but not a biggie. The purple trails are magical to hike on. The Pine Trees are such a pleasant sight to see. The walk was peaceful! We had it to ourselves for the majority of the time. Definitely will return to explore the Red Trail and listen to the stream once again.
