Denver Dog Park is a well-maintained, gated dog park featuring separate areas for small and large dogs. It requires a $20 registration and a key fob for entry, ensuring a private and secure environment. The park offers benches within each dog area and has a fenced perimeter of good quality. Visitors appreciate the fresh water bowls available for dogs and humans, though shade is limited. Though there is no dog swimming area or covered shelter, the park is wheelchair accessible and provides a pleasant space for dogs to exercise and socialize.

Great dog park! It is pretty large and perfect for the fetch loving pups! There is fresh water for the humans and pups and water bowls you can fill up as well. The only reason I didn’t give it five stars is the lack of shade in the park.

A cute dog park, very very small though. Only good if you have small dogs not if you have a big dog that needs to run. No water or any thing attractive for the dogs to explore. I expect it won’t be used much..

Park is really nice, well kept, has a lot to offer in terms of outdoor exercise with equipment posted along the paths and a frisbee golf forest trail that runs along the creek(also great for walking dogs). The dog park section is okay, just enclosed fence area with 2 separate pens for big and small dogs. HOWEVER as of 7/19/21 the electric lock is broken and you can STROLL RIGHT IN and see if a 20$ yearly fee is worth it for you. Only cons with the park is the lack of a dog type of fountain anywhere and broken regular fountains.

This park needs to be clearly marked as Denver PRIVATE dog park. I didn’t read the reviews and quickly headed this way because my regular dog park (Ephrata dog park – 30 minutes away from my house) was going through maintenance for a few hours. My pup is on a real quick schedule and this was the next closest one (15min more min away) I just drove out of my way to get to this park only to find that you need a key fob to enter. This was extremely disappointing because to treat a public dog park like your own private club is so pretentious. I spoke with another gentleman walking his dog and he said that I have to fill out a form online to receive a key fob which we both found to be outlandish as he did not have a key fob either. One could make the argument that they are trying to keep the riff Raff out ,but every other area to this park is open . They have a skatepark a baseball field and a playground all of which people can readily have access to. And it’s not like they’re in the inner city where there would actually be riff Raff. I would imagine that the person who spearheaded the idea for this park is not a real dog person. For driving this much extra out of the way I could have went to the dog park in Exton which was open And it’s the same distance away from my house. Y’all need to do better or at least CLEARLY mark this dog park as private.

I’m grateful for a dog park in the area. As an Ephrata resident, it is nice to have a short drive for a dog park instead of driving into Buchanan in Lancaster city. It was a simple registration of only NULL and a few papers to submit to the Denver Municipal Building. You receive a fob that gives you access to the gated dog area. Inside, there is a small dog area and a large dog area. There are a few benches inside each area. The fence is of good quality and so far the people and dogs have been very friendly.
