It’s a good park, with rotating small and big pens. Some people don’t read very well and bring more than two dogs which can lead to a pack mentality attack. For example this guy with his blue heelers, they are super protective and go after any dog that comes near them . The man child does nothing about it and he has 3 of them.

We absolutely love North Lakes Park! It’s always so well-maintained, with nice, well-lit paths. The park is an amazing space for the community, and for our Aussiedor, Max! He just loves those big play areas!

There is plenty of convenient parking. The 1.5mi trail is great for a walk or jog, allowing us to enjoy the scenery and stay active. We can’t recommend North Lakes Park enough. It’s a fantastic spot for anyone who wants to enjoy nature & let their furry friends socialize!

Thanks to the Denton park staff for keeping it in such great shape!

This park has a beautiful scenery. The playground is good but there is no area for small kids.

I don’t have pet I’m not reviewing on that part. Seems like pets are having good time with 2-3 parks so there is plenty of room to play and nice seating for owners. Lake is good and have very good seating arrangement. Trail is clean for walk, run and bike.
Summary it’s nice park to visit individual or as group.

We are new to the area and a co-worker suggested North Lakes Dog Park. We went on the night of the City Parks and Rec showing a movie and the unveiling of a park statue. The guests there were super nice, all the dogs were very energetic, they do have a water fountain for dogs, lights at night and benches for humans. I thought it was cool to see people sitting on their own blankets.

Signs are visible of which park your pup should go to, but some humans didn’t respect it, and they may have had their reason.

They do have string lights and light sabot looking lights entering and exiting the park.

It is dusty with gravel so wear the right shoes.

It’s worth driving 6 miles one way. We’ll be back and look forward to joking the VIPaw group as members.
