Located in a quiet Delmont neighborhood, Kovalczik Park is a welcoming destination for families and dog owners alike. This well-maintained park features a ball field, picnic pavilion with grills, and a playground, making it a perfect spot for both human and canine visitors. The park is known for its wheelchair-accessible entrance and parking, ensuring accessibility for everyone. Pet owners will appreciate the dog-friendly areas and the open space for walks and play, although the lower ball field can get marshy during wetter months.
The playground and picnic amenities, combined with plenty of green space and a scenic hillside for event viewing or sled riding in winter, make Kovalczik Park a versatile spot year-round. While there isn’t a dedicated, separate dog park or agility equipment, the park is a great choice for those seeking a friendly atmosphere, outdoor activities, and dog-friendly recreation in Delmont, Pennsylvania.
Great spot for a team cookout.
My daughter lives in Armstrong County and I in Fayette. We met up here to visit and have a play date with our dogs. This is a small park, nestled into a quiet neighborhood and it is well maintained. There is a pavilion and grills available for picnics and parties. It hosts a ball field which is fenced in and a port a potty as a rest room facility. All in all we liked it.
Had alot of fun here with my kids and a friend and her kid. Did some sled riding, snow man building, and snow fort building.
The hills are gentle enough or rough enough for any level of snow seeding fun.
During spring, summer, and fall months I believe the lower end where the ball field is, gets a bit marshy. My wife and kids though do like going here all year long.
Well-maintained ballfield with nice hillside area for viewing games.
We can walk from our house. It has a great playground and picnic area. I like the neatness of the park.
