Seems to be the go to park in Delaware. Plenty of parking, walking path, playground equipment, restrooms, soccer fields, alongside the Olentangy River with access and probably a lot more that I missed. Also very well maintained.
Playground and skate park are top notch. We mostly go for the skate park which is very well maintained. Not been there in the summer but they look to have a big swimming pool.
Got a pizza and stopped there on our way through town. We are heading from NC to MI. We let the kids play for a while and left. Nice little Park you guys have there. Needs a disc golf course.
Although the actual rec center is still in 1965 the rest of the park is really nice. Lots of soccer fields, baseball fields, walking track with workout stations, amazing skate park that has some really nice older guys that make the younger kids feel like stars and lit tennis courts along with a play area for the kids.
The tennis courts should really be painted for pickleball also since it is NEVER busy and that sport is growing like crazy and can provide the city with more “dedicated” court options.
The hand powered boat ramp leads to a nice walk by the water for dogs and adventuring kids. Super cool little area.
Nice little community park. Clean and quiet.
Came to Delaware to view the eclipse and this park had a large parking lot with lots of unobstructed views.
Lots of friendly people, bicycle cops riding around, and kids/dogs everywhere. Good vibes.
