We can’t say enough great things about our experience with Lead The Way K9 Training! They worked with our two puppies and completely transformed them into well-mannered, confident little dogs. The trainers were professional, patient, and clearly passionate about what they do.

Not only did our pups learn basic commands and manners, but we also learned how to communicate with them more effectively. The entire process was positive, supportive, and honestly kind of fun! We couldn’t wait to check their progress on Instagram each day!

Phoebe loves going to Lead The Way! We completed the board & train program a few months ago. After she completed the program, we realized noticeable results in how well she responds to commands and better impulse control. We are able to put distractions in front of Phoebe and we get very little reaction under times of craziness/stress (knocking, loud noises, doorbell rings, etc).

Josh and Brittany gave us great tools to use when continuing to train Phoebe and are always available for additional support. The e-collar and prong collar are great tools, especially when we introduce Phoebe to new or potentially disruptive environments. We originally thought we shouldn’t use the prong collar, but they ensured us that it was a productive and non-harmful tool to train Phoebe. We use it on every walk we go on and it is actually very enjoyable to walk a dog that doesn’t pull or drag you along. In addition, the e-collar provides the opportunity to command Phoebe (sometimes even off leash- see my video of the deer in our yard and Phoebe staying calm/ collective!) and provide instant correction when needed. Very happy with the results of the training program.

We also take Phoebe to daycare occasionally. She enjoys the play time with her friends. I personally noticed how clean she is when we pick her up from Lead the Way daycare. We have tried other places for day care, and we often pick up Phoebe and she is noticeably dirty/grime-ey. Overall very pleased and excited to have chosen Lead the way.

Lead the way K9 is nothing short of amazing! Both of our dogs went through their 2 week board and train program and I can’t give over the difference. The barking at anything and everything is gone, the stay until told, they love the structure, and they are so calm now. Walking is also much easier and less stressful. No more pulling, barking, or being aggressive towards other dogs or people. We were thankful for the consistent communication and photo/video updates through socials on play time and the training process. I highly recommend getting a full service groom as well. The haircuts were so adorable. Last I can’t thank Josh, Brittany, and their amazing team enough. Training the boys and then teaching us all we need to know to have happy yet calm dogs. Thank you all so much!!!

We send both of our dogs here for daycare, training and boarding. Everyone is very accommodating, super responsive and friendly. I feel very comfortable leaving my dogs here, knowing that they are well cared for. Also, our dogs get so excited to be dropped off for daycare they don’t even give me a glance goodbye. I also like that they post tons of photos to their Instagram stories.

Lead the Way K9 Training is the best! We have 3 Goldendoodles that we sent to training, get groomed and board here when needed. Our dogs are well taken care of, don’t come home stressed and have lots of running and play time while in their care. We always get photo updates on the dogs when boarding and grooming too. I would definitely recommend all of their service’s!
