FAQ for Western Big Sky Inn in Deer Lodge Montana:
Just needed a place to stay as we traveled through MT. We were pleasantly surprised. Dated, but clean and comfortable room. Super friendly staff. Excellent price.
This hotel is a bit dated, but the perfect little home town inn. Very clean, staff were so friendly. The Continental breakfast offered more then the usual ones, even a jimmy dean breakfast sandwich was offered, alonyg with 7 types of cereals, yogurt , a variety of bagels. Oatmeal ( 5 varieties. And waffles. Can’t ask for more then that for a Continental breakfast.
I would recommend this inn, if you are looking for that hometown, cozy stay. I thought the prices were very reasonable.
When we check in lady was very friendly, let know when breakfast was, told us to enjoy our stay, next morning different lady very rude about serving breakfast . Over heard another gentleman asking for room service & saying it was a holiday weekend that the lady that was rude to everyone over breakfast was saying she wasn’t going to take of rooms due to short staff on the weekends if we wanted a
nything it was going to be fresh towels. So I told her we’d take some fresh towels for our room but didn’t bother to take our dirty ones out of our room when were gone for the day.
Its an ok spot. The lady who checked me in was very friendly , the room was hit & miss. Very basic mom n pop hotel, clean room , a few bumps on the edges. The mattress worked but had some room for improvement. Good AC , MW, Fridge & TV in room .Breakfast has waffles & MW egg sandwiches. Its in a good spot with a grocery store right across the street & downtown within walking distance. I opted to stay just one night.
Amazing price and amazing place. It is centrally located near lots of tourist spots. It was very clean and they even gave us fresh fluffy towels without waiting to be asked. The staff was friendly and helpful. Beds were comfortable and pillows were good too. This place was the best of the 4 places we stayed at on our vacation. The other places cost 2-3 times more. Breakfast was adequate. Make sure you visit the Auto Museum in town!
