Beautiful set of trails that let’s you explore a bit of coastline and interior of an area that’s not heavily traveled. Trails are well maintained, but not suitable for sneakers – there are wet areas and a lot of roots (it’s Maine). Nice forests – mostly spruce, and great views.

Great little spot with a couple of different paths you can take. Rather hiking in the forest or meandering along the rocky shoreline, great to be out and enjoying nature. There are about 6-9 parking spots, but doesn’t seem to be too busy. The trails are nice, however be ready for rock steps and tree roots more of the way :). Not too different then most paths in ME.

One of my favorite hikes ever. Quiet and serene, lush, green with moss and lichens everywhere. Trail is root covered and has many muddy spots, but we were prepared.

We hiked the preserve on 3-22-21. The trails were in good shape, with lots of roots, but only a few spots of ice here and there,so no need for grippers. Absolutely gorgeous views all along the shore. Plenty of spots to hike down by the shore. One of our favorites!
