Located in the heart of DeBary, Florida, Bill Keller Park is a favorite destination for families and dog lovers alike. Known for its cleanliness, spacious grounds, and shade-filled areas, this well-maintained city park is a standout option for those searching for a dog-friendly park in DeBary. While primarily recognized for sports amenities like tennis courts, baseball fields, pickleball courts, basketball, and shuffleboard, it also features shaded playgrounds and covered pavilions perfect for picnics and relaxing with your pet.
This park’s unique advantage is its extended hours due to the lack of a closing gate, allowing dog owners more flexibility than most parks in the area. With numerous shaded areas, restrooms, water fountains, and plenty of open grassy spaces, it’s a wonderful spot for walking your pup, enjoying a family outing, or hosting a gathering. Although not a dedicated dog park, Bill Keller Park is one of DeBary’s top pet-friendly outdoor locations for dog owners seeking a welcoming local hangout.
Quite a nice park, that was relatively quiet. They have a full size basketball court, 2 pickleball courts, 2 tennis courts, shaded playground for kids, and picnic benches that are also shaded. Nice size park for family picnic or gathering. They even have restrooms.

it is one of very, very few parks in the area (just parks in general these days) that are open pass midnight; {simply} due to lack of gate present; most parks are closed around 7-8pm and only State/National Parks are open practically ²⁴/7 unless stated for only camper

My absolute favorite park. I would rather travel the barely 8 minutes to Bill Keller park ANYDAY over the parks in Deltona. Not only is the park extremely well kept and clean, it offers a wonderful huge completely shaded playground. This is so important when living in FL during our hot months, which is many! The heat & humidity can be a killer on our babies/toddlers! It has three tennis courts, basketball court, and baseball field. It has three great pavilions for hosting birthday parties and a large grass area as well. The playground equipment is also updated and does not get burning hot like many others do like at Thornby Park or Dewey O Booster. I’ve been going to parks for years and sadly, some just get trashy (people and things). Love this park!

If you like sports this is your park. Several well maintained baseball fields, a full court basketball court, several tennis courts, a pickleball court, and even a shuffleboard court. Also a covered playground and pavilions available. There are several restrooms and water fountains here too.
