DO NOT BUY A GIFT CARD FROM THIS PLACE…My wife purchased a gift card from the hotel and even asked multiple hotel employees if we could use the gift card at the hotel for my in-laws wedding anniversary. The actual card itself says, “The Boathouse at Anchored Inn” and we purchased it at the hotel so when it came time to check in, my mother-in-law called the front desk again to confirm they would take the card. When they arrived, different story. They wouldn’t accept it only the bar outside would accept the card?? Not even the food truck. Highly disappointed with hotel management at Anchored Inn for not working with us. It was embarrassing gift to give now they are stuck with a gift card and my in-laws don’t drink alcohol.
My wife and I had an excellent time here during our stay in late July. The hotel/room was prestine and the service was awesome. In particular, Kelly (Manager) went above and beyond the expectations of hospitality when we realized my wife’s car was having trouble the morning of departure. Her husband, Andy, spent over an hr w/ us helping and eventually got us on our way. Although our morning didn’t go as planned, we couldn’t have picked a better place to spend an additional hr while experiencing car trouble. 5 stars for them both and their willingness to lend a helping hand even when it didn’t fall under the scope of their responsibilty. Additionally, they were putting in an outdoor, boat bar underneath a pavilion that is sure to be a town landmark. Great time here and even greater ppl.
We had a good experience at the Anchored inn. The room was great, staff very nice and helpful. It’s a very cute property and had everything we needed for our stay.
It did get a bit loud at times with the boathouse bar right in front of the hotel, however the loudness never went on late at night and always seemed to calm down before 10 pm.
Would definitely recommend to others!
Great location, lots of parking. Rooms are comfortable and clean. Nice size rooms. Breakfast is basic but OK, Yogurt / cereal / coffee.
Celebrated my 45th Birthday here and had an amazing time! The young lady at the front desk named Victoria is the best hands down!
