Beautiful park on the intercostal. Fun fishing and it’s usually not all that busy.
A hidden gem in Daytona Beach Shores. There’s not much here but a park bench, a trashcan and a beautiful sunset.
It’s a great quiet place to sit and relax, watch for dolphins and manatees and maybe enjoy a cold one!
There’s river access but shoes are recommended.
there is no way to park the car, there is no access to the water, it’s just a passage between houses
As a local I’ve enjoyed this beautiful hidden gem my whole life. No parking so you’ll have to walk, nearest parking off van Avenue is McElroy park/ Van Alder dog park around the corner. Very quiet & peaceful. No one is usually there when I’ve gone in the evening or the early morning. I have passed by & one or two people sitting on the bench enjoying the view or fishing. Leashed dogs welcome. At the entrance you’ll find a dog waste station. I absolutely recommend this place to relax at any time of day!
This is a very small park, with 2 benches, on the river. You cannot drive here. I saw on the news yesterday a report about dust from the Saharan Desert and how it makes the sky more colorful. So, my son, his friend and I took a walk to go see this beautiful scene. It actually ended up turning red. I missed taking those pictures because I was on the phone with my other son, describing it to him. It was very well worth it!! I don’t know who maintains this park, but, Thank You!
