Brownie’s Dog Park is a private, membership-only dog park located within a public park at 431 N Beach St in Daytona Beach, FL. This specialized dog park stands out for its agility equipment, making it a great spot for local dog owners interested in training and exercise opportunities for their pets. Please note that use of the dog park requires a membership and a key fob, and it is not available for casual visitors, vacationers, or non-members.
Although the fenced area for off-leash play is exclusive to members, the surrounding park offers dog-friendly, paved walking trails and ample spots for picnics, making it a pleasant destination for both residents and visitors looking for pet-friendly outdoor activities in Daytona Beach. The park is fully accessible with wheelchair-friendly facilities and is also good for families with kids.
Membership required to used this dog park. Which is in a PUBLIC park. I’ve never seen anyone use this.
I liked the park and was actually looking forward to bringing my new dog to it because I live in the apartment directly across from it. But I was quite upset to find it’s private. Nowhere epse except the entrance on the gate says private, not even the PUBLIC park entrances or the PUBLIC parks maps. In all honesty to have a private dog park inside a public park is just insulting. Especially if you are a resident and use that park frequently. Personally I believe this dog park should be made public like the rest of the park. No wonder I never see anyone use it.
Private membership only- waste of time and gas finding it. No good for visitors or vacationers but wouldn’t have been worth it anyway. Very small and fake turf no real grass. Should be advertised as private and only an agility park.
Apart from a permit dog area, the park is the nicest for both humans and dogs to walk and sit. Bring a picnic basket or bag lunch, and your pooch. No need for a permit to enjoy the sidewalks insulated for dog paws when hot weather.
Small, but lots of agility equipment. Would probably be great, if you’re a member. If you’re visiting, on the other hand, it’s pretty useless, as it requires a membership, and key fob to get in. Plenty of park around it to walk with your dog, but disappointing if you were looking forward to some off-leash time.
