Quiere place in an old town
Cute place to picnic.
This is a little area immediately off of the highway that has Dayton’s history. This is the first time anything like this has been done in this community. The ‘mailbox’ is for old flags, America’s flag and Texas’ flag, that are needing to be destroyed. There is a proper way to discard of old, tattered, torn flags. As you walk the path there are markers that give you a brief summation of Dayton’s history. The path has cement benches to sit and enjoy the beauty and landscaping. There is a committee that is putting this together. It isn’t complete yet. I will post updates as they occur.
