The Englewood Metro Park is a huge nature area full with trails, picnic spots, etc. It’s great for people who are wanting to walk or bike for exercise, and there are many areas to park your car. The park has many paved trails and some that are dirt. There are also handicap accessible bathrooms, though their cleanliness will vary. Pets are also welcome! I would highly recommend this metro park to anyone who enjoys a bit of nature!

Good size park, there are picnic tables, shelters, a disc golf course, etc. The lake is a great spot for bird watching. Someone told me there was waterfalls there, but we didn’t see any.

Great place to bring the kids, or to come alone for some quiet contemplation, or bring your dog(s) for an energetic romp – just make sure to keep them on a leash. Many trails to choose from, whether you just want to stroll or desire a more vigorous hike. All-season access and views.

Pure heaven. Trails featuring three different waterfalls, lots of wildflowers in growing season and a fantastic marsh bird preserve!
