This small park has a nice modern playground set, modern swings for Littles and older kids, a small modern playground set for Littles, and Little Tyke-type additions like a cozy cottage and first slide that are usually found in back yards. This is a dedicated community park designed for locals, so drivers must figure out legal street parking. The historic fence and iconic purple Dayton dinosaur ride-ons are sure to bring a smile to young and old alike. We visited on an unseasonably warm Feb Sunday and had zero safety concerns, met some delightful families. There are several picnic tables and benches available for eating and relaxing.
This park is very quit and pretty nice for children to have fun. I stopped by early morning with my wife and our little child. If you wanna have a price of mind, I suggest you stop by in the morning. It’s a few minutes away from UD.
