Toad Hollow Dog Park is one of the most popular spots for dog owners in Davis, California and the Sacramento-Yolo area. Nestled off 2nd Street with a tucked-away entrance, this spacious, fenced dog park offers ample grassy areas and shade, making it a favorite for locals and visitors alike. The park provides separate sections for small and large dogs, ensuring that pups of all sizes can play safely and comfortably. There’s plenty of open space to run, socialize, and enjoy time off-leash in a secure environment.
This dog-friendly park is well-known for its welcoming atmosphere—regular visitors praise the community of pet owners and the dog-friendly attitude. There are drinking fountains inside the park for pets, numerous waste bins, and convenient seating for owners. While parking can get tight during busy times, many appreciate the easy access when spaces are available.
One of the best dog parks in the Sacramento-Yolo area.
Large & small dogs separated. There is a crowd that comes m-f during the morning & the evening for both sides.
On a good day parking is limited.
Everyone I’ve encountered is friendly.
Aggressive dogs are not tolerated. You will be asked to leave. Also if your male dog is excessively humping other dogs it is expected that you handle your dog or if necessary leave. Common sense, but some of the owners just sit back and watch.

Nice, big, fenced in dog park with a water fountain inside and both a large and small dog area. Depending on the time of day there is more or less shade. In summer a bunch of the green areas are pretty dry, but there’s still some lush areas around for pups to roll in. Easy parking, plenty of waste bins, spots to sit if you dare risking the fact most have likely been peed on in some capacity. One star off for how dry and hot it can be.

Pretty good size park off the beaten path you can’t see it from the road you have to turn into the driveway, but a lot of grass and shade two separate parks for small dogs and one for large dogs to play in

One of the best dog parks I have been to thus far. I live in Sacramento county area, and this dog park in Davis has a vast amount of space, very clean for the most part. And with it being a friendly neighborhood for the most part my dog has been having an amazing time interacting with people and their dogs. Even though I live in Sacramento, if I am taking my dog to a dog park, it will be this one in Davis more often than other dog parks.
