Top notch dog boarding & daycare business. My wife and I boarded out 11 month old puppy here for two weeks and we have zero hesitation about taking her back in the future. The regular feedback and updates we received while away was very comforting. While we were there for drop off and pick up we could easily tell this is a well run operation that cares about their staff performance and our pets.
Amazing spot, so glad we found it! They have a lot more staff than other places we’ve taken our dogs to and offer a lot of great services. The facilities are incredible, they have a pool(s), tons of outdoor spaces for dogs to run around, and take great care of every pup.
Update: They took care of my refund (just overpayment no big issues) quickly and professionally!
All in all wonderful service. Welcoming environment, willing to accommodate special needs, polite and professional staff. No issues with care, our dogs seemed well cared for, clean and happy when we returned to pick them up. Front desk staff were wonderful. However, there were some technical difficulties and documentation errors. Both dogs appeared clean, groomed, bathed and toenails clipped but only one was documented. No complaints on the groom but not documented and no report card was ever sent. I also prepaid my dogs’ visit and we ended up not needing to pay as much as originally estimated so my card was supposed to be refunded quite a bit of money and has not been yet. I did call and hopefully they will correct the card issue. Will update when I find out!

We love this place, more importantly our dog loves it. He is a high energy large pup and they meet all his needs. Our dog spends all our vacations here including a longer 2 week one. They take care of it all, including meds, and I feel so comfortable and worry free when he’s here. He also comes home happy and tired. It’s worth every penny.
This is the first time I’ve ever had to leave my dog somewhere. I was nervous leaving her just like my dog was nervous to be not by my side. The people at dogwood acres made it a really smooth transition and made sure to take good care of her. I got constant updates while I was gone and some pictures of her having fun there when I came back. It definitely made my vacation easier knowing that my dog was happy and in good hands.
