We continue to have an amazing experience with American K9’s board and train for our GSP, Dodger! Trainer Carl was fantastic—patient, knowledgeable, and clearly passionate about what he does. He really understood the GSP breed and helped channel Dodger’s energy in the best way. We’ve seen improvements in his focus and manners while keeping his fun personality. Highly recommend American K9 and especially Carl!

We had an absolutely amazing experience sending our Walter to AmericanK9! We did extensive research on our options and felt good about utilizing the board and train option. It isn’t easy sending your dog away to work with strangers but they far exceeded our expectations. We definitely hit the jackpot with our trainer, Natalie. Walter had challenges with reactivity and general manners. She went above and beyond to make sure Walter was cared for while also making a huge difference in his behavior. Natalie was communicative with us and really made us feel like we were apart of the process. It was clear that Natalie spent the time getting know Walter and his quirks along the way.

We also really value Natalie’s perspective on Walter and his experiences in the world. Walter came home with an incredible foundation of training, a love of learning, and more confidence in himself. We also gained confidence in our ability advocate for Walter and ensure his success. We are forever grateful for Natalie and all the incredible work she did with our boy. We tell everyone we meet about our experience and hope so many other folks get to work with Natalie!

American K9 provided 11 out of 10 star service. We had gotten to a point with our puppy that we either had to rehome her or do some drastic training. She was stressing our cat out so much from chasing that he was hospitalized. American k9 provides a lifetime guarantee and when they say they support you in this journey they mean it. From start to finish, the staff answered all our questions with urgency. Morgan answered promptly and set me at ease letting me know how unique this program is. Maisey was paired with Natalie and we knew instantly it was a perfect match. We ended up being late to our intake due to the cat needing urgent care and Natalie was extremely understanding. I was met with support and kindness. She took the time to find out all about Maisey and asked us our goals and expectations. One of my favorite parts about this program is we get updates daily with pictures, videos, and progress reports. Natalie went above and beyond answering my questions outside of her working hours and ensuring I felt confident. Being without my baby girl for 3 weeks was tough but I felt reassured Natalie was taking great care of her. Another unique aspect of this program is the offside training. Maisey had a few field trips in public to test her skills. Upon graduation day, Natalie spent over the time scheduled to ensure my husband and I felt confident with our role to continue training. While she is still a work in progress I am amazed by what she learned while in the 3 week boarding. Maisey has perfected heel and recall. She no longer has selected hearing and will actually listen to our commands. Day one of being home we had a lot of questions and once again Natalie went above and beyond responding and giving us insight into how to handle certain scenarios. I will be honest i was skeptic for the amount of money it cost but can confidently say it was worth every penny. There is still work on our end to ensure a cohesive home life but we have American K9 to assist us every step of the way. Thank you so much for an incredible transformation!

We sent both of our dudes to training with Natalie and are really happy with the progress they made over the two weeks. Both former strays, now working on their place, heals, and recall. I can definitely say we see a difference in how they are acclimating to each other and forming their little “pack” alongside our oldest third dog. I appreciate how Natalie noticed one was much more shy than the other and she was knowledgeable on how to approach them based on who they are.

I also learned a lot as an owner on how to make my space the best it can be for a blended household with varied personalities, play types, and ages.
