Emily

Low difficulty hike that even an out of shape novice like me could do.

I’m on the fence as to if it was worth it for the view as the powerline section had a clearer and somewhat more dramatic view of the valley, but it was still cool to get to the rock itself and just be on a cliff looking into the valley.

An entirely walkable trail with only minor inconveniences – a few downed trees that were easily mantled or walked around, and some very rocky and uneven sections that could trip you or roll your ankle if you aren’t careful. No special gear or training required – just a decent pair of shoes or boots, a hat if it is sunny, and a bottle of water.

Great hike. There was a lot of fog when I was there still worth it. The family and I had a picnic on the rocks. Loved it. Can’t wait to get back.

Great scenery and a pretty easy section of trail to reach it. Lots get full but by evening for a sunset hike, not many cars at all. Too much graffiti and saw kids spraying rocks. Not much climbing if you’re not in shape but want to see a pretty overlook
