Gorgeous park with miles of well maintained trails.

Great place to hike, mountain bike, or just stroll with your dog! There are no playgrounds but there is a nice picnic shelter that can be rented out for events. There is a boat dock that grants access to the Dan River. Restrooms are provided but they’re a bit “rugged.”

This park was nice. It was clean. We were a little disappointed that outside of the boat ramp area we could not get a very good view of the river as the brush was so overgrown. We did walk the trail a few miles and came across this little guy. We think it may have been an Otter but not sure.

My brother and i ALWAYS have a blast here at Anglers. The trails are well maintained, the new rock garden is amazing as well! Just wish there was maybe a jump line and some smaller drops than the “Leap of faith” (which we will hit some day)! Thanks for everything and all the hard work that goes into them! So nice to have some local trails!

Great variety of trail, rugged goodness. Red trail is pretty tough, and I rode green and blue the days before and that helped a bunch getting the lay of the land first. Took a couple times to understand the signage. Would recommend if you’re into some technical mountain biking!

Amazing trails and views, but be cautious about getting lost. The trail markers aren’t very good, and if you don’t pay attention, you could get lost if you are unfamiliar. Being from Florida, this was an amazing change in scenery, and I had an absolute blast by myself running the trails.
