Its uphill first and then coming back downhill. Took up 25 + 5 + 20 mins for entire trail. Has mix of trees, open area. Elevation gain is slow and steady.

Loop trail with great views of the Danville valley. Shade is not present all through the hike. There is a bench at the center of the loop and downhill path is slope with super slippery. Take water and be cautious while going there.

This open space is also known as the Little Switzerland of the Bay Area. Hiking here is a bit difficult due to the potholes created by trampling in the mud, but the rich rain has brought infinite vitality here. Looking around, it is green everywhere, which is quite beautiful. In addition to the beautiful green itself, you can also overlook the Sycamore Valley Open Space South, which is definitely a visual enjoyment. The hiking trail can consist of several trails like shady slope trail, sand hill trail and short ridge trail, not too long.

This trail offers a nice up hill trek through a ravine and across a little bridge. It is a very cute trail that has a rewarding view once you get to the top. This is a footpath rather than a fire road and it connects at the top of the hill to the Short Ridge trail. Great place to get a quick cardio workout!
