Phaiah’s Dog Park is a popular, wheelchair-accessible dog park located at 94 Quinebaug Dr in Danielson, CT, right next to the scenic Quinebaug Rail Trail. This dog-friendly park features two fully fenced areas specifically designated for small and large dogs, making it safe and enjoyable for pups of all sizes. The park is known for its well-kept walking paths—maintained even during the winter—and offers a peaceful, shaded environment thanks to surrounding trees. Visitors appreciate its cleanliness, welcoming community, and easy access for both driving and walking via pet-friendly trails.
Unique amenities include stocked dog waste bag stations, trash bins, shade from mature trees, and public restrooms nearby. While there isn’t a water fountain or covered shelter, the park remains a favorite gathering spot, especially around 5pm when it’s most lively. Separate enclosures, a field for fetch, and proximity to hiking trails make it an excellent destination for both exercise and socialization for dogs and their humans.
Dog parks a tricky in general I have a 6-month-old Shepherd that plays rough older dogs don’t like it so it’s always a tricky thing but it’s a decent clean dog park
Not a review of the dog park, as I do not have a dog… I parked here for the Quinebaug Rail Trail, which goes right by the dog park. The rail trail is lovely and you can go for a long walk with Fido there too!
I’m here five days a week to walk the dog. There are two dog enclosures for small and large dogs. The walking paths are always well kept, even in the winter. Plenty of wildlife to see!
I love bringing my dog here! Nice trails leading to the dog park or you can drive in. Areas are separated by small/large dogs and a field where most owners play fetch.
Best time to come is around 5pm, area is not lit in the dark unfortunately! Dog bags are available and are always stocked
Nice, large dog park tucked away at the end of a residential road.
Front of the park is mulched, with decent grass to the back.
Separate sections for large and small dogs
Shade from trees, but no structure.
No water… bags and trash were available.
People were very friendly! Maizey loved the big boulder in the middle.
