🐾 Kids at the Dog Park: Real Stories, Safety Risks & Smarter Solutions
If you’ve spent time at an off-leash park, you’ve probably seen it:A parent strolls in with a stroller 🚼 or […]
Located at 4201 Ball Rd, Cypress, CA, Nature Park offers a unique green space in the heart of the city. Despite its name, Nature Park is actually a flood control basin, fenced off for safety with nursery trees dotting its perimeter. While the park’s atmosphere is unconventional, it provides locals and visitors an opportunity to enjoy a stroll or picnic when open during the warmer summer months.
Although access can be restricted at times due to its use as a water retention area, those lucky enough to visit can experience a quiet, open space to relax and enjoy Cypress’ outdoors. While the area does not have typical dog park amenities such as separated dog runs or dedicated off-leash zones, it remains a spot to stretch your legs and enjoy the greenery when available. Always check ahead for accessibility before planning your pet-friendly visit to this distinctive Cypress park.
Creepy and Unsettling atmosphere. Especially in the middle section of Nature Park. I don’t care if it’s manmade its creepy. I don’t recommend going alone…

This place is never open. Have lived in Cypress all my life and have never been. Seems like a waste of space.
