Thanks to Cathy and Cozy canine camp for being an outstanding facility. My Lance had three different groomers before we came in contact with Cozy Canine Camp. He hates care rides and being on a crate makes him even more anxious. We were always looking for a place than can take care of him and they just know how to do it. They offer this awesome VIP services where I can wait for him after I drop him, and pick him up right away after he is done, it is amazing. Lance always looks so handsome after his grooming session and I know he notices it too!! I can tell he likes Cathy since he never gave kisses to any other groomers before. If you are looking for a great groomer, Cathy will not disappoint you. From a regular grooming session to a VIP service Cozy Canine Camp has it all. If I can gave her 10 starts I will.
This place is terrible. Hidden fees. Charged my sister and her husband an extra hundred dollars that their invoice did not show after they had completely paid in full. Completely unexpected. Absolutely do not go to this place. They are freaking terrible. Maybe if they gave my sister back her money I’d reconsider?? But no one should take their dog here absolutely not.
I don’t want to leave a bad review and have friends who use CCC. We boarded twice. The first time we left our 1 yo golden retriever and 15 yo beagle with special care needs, ie she needs frequent pee breaks due to Cushing’s. Our golden came back clean and happy but our beagle came back reeking of urine, even after the clean up bath we paid for, and still smelled after two more baths we gave her at home. They were very apologetic and the woman we spoke with was very sweet and apologized for our beagle’s state.
Since Bella seemed happy we used them again, this time just for Bella. We do like the socialization Bella gets while boarding. Within 24 h they called saying she had a cough and needed to be picked up immediately. She was perfectly fine prior and had just been to a regular check up at the vet a couple weeks prior. We don’t have any family nearby so we spent hours contacting friends on a Saturday morning to see if they could pick her up. During this time we received polite communication that they would try to keep Bella separated but she would need to be picked up asap. Then another email came that Bella has been coughing and needs to be picked up by 4pm today. I finally found someone to get her. Funny thing is Bella is obviously vaccinated, as required, and not one of us has ever heard her cough. Ever. Still haven’t. Perhaps she choked on something while there? I can’t argue with what CCC heard, but all I know is that they are not a reliable boarding center for us. They even said they’d send her to their vet, we said fine since we’d rather spend time enjoying our vacation than worrying about pickup. But they decided we just had to pick her up instead. I can’t help but wonder if they just wanted to get rid of her for whatever reason? It’s just not the headache I wanted to deal with on vacation and obviously will not return.
We can’t say enough about how much we and our babies adore cozy canine camp! The staff is so above and beyond. They go out of their way to make sure your pets feel safe. Our newest puppy was so scared to leave us for the first time and Dan actually sat with her trying to make her feel comfortable. It was so sweet! They email pics daily of them having a blast too which makes you smile on vacay! The absolute best place to board your fur babies !!! Thanks for all your hard work guys I can’t imagine how hard it is!!! We appreciate y’all so much!
While we have used Cozy Canine Camp in the past, we will not be going back after our last experience. We paid off our invoice in full, as reflected in our client portal AND as confirmed verbally by the staff member looking at our account as he checked in our dog for a 12-day boarding stay. We were also informed we could pick our dog up anytime between 9-4, with no extra charges mentioned. When we came to pick her up, our client portal had a remaining balance of NULL as we’d expected, but their system apparently reflected an extra NULL/day balance for “peak season boarding” and they wanted to charge us NULL for picking her up in the afternoon. Nowhere, either verbally or in our estimate or invoice, did they mention an extra NULL/day, which came to NULL for our stay. And neither were we informed of the extra NULL charge beforehand. Also, that adds up to an extra NULL total, but they tried to charge us NULL flat, with no further explanation for that last NULL that made it into our bill. None of this was actually reflected in our original client portal invoice, so they created a new invoice for us on the spot to replace the old one as we picked her up, deleting any record of our paid invoice, and asked us to pay the new one. When we pushed back, they took off the NULL charge but still wanted the other NULL. They take great care of the dogs under their care, but we plan to find another place for our dog to stay in the future with more clear policies and transparency.
