Perfect location-walking distance to great restaurants in town, close to bike trails, and convenient storage for bikes on property. Beautifully finished renovation of a unique space, enjoyed exploring the building and Crosby. A charming small town with amazing food. Would definitely stay at The Sanctuary again, very clean and the self check in was super slick. Fantastic get-away!

The room was lovely as were the public areas. This was our first time staying there and we will definitely look into staying there again. We love that you implemented elements from the old church into the decor. One suggestion we have is to make the lights above the nightstands dimmable. Thank you for providing a great lodging option in the Crosby area!

I recently had the pleasure of staying in The Snuggary room at The Sanctuary, and it truly lived up to its name. I was drawn by the concept of old church turned to hotel- it felt both creative and peaceful. The atmosphere was quiet, open, and light filled.

In the evening, I sat out on the porch, it felt like a place made for slowing down and simply being. My room was cozy too, and woke up feeling rested and renewed.

The Sanctuary is more than just a hotel — it’s an experience of peace, beauty, and stillness that lingers even after you leave.

The hotel is very close to the mountain biking and hiking trails and just a few blocks from shopping and dining in town. We had a fantastic time at The Sanctuary with comfortably and thoughtfully appointed rooms, fun common areas inside and out, bike storage, ride-in/ride-out access to Cuyuna, and walkable to downtown Crosby. The building was beautifully restored and the photos of the restoration were fun to see over the fireplace. While I love the outdoors and definitely don’t mind getting dirty, at the end of the day I want to unwind somewhere beautiful with a clean, hot shower. The Sanctuary absolutely checked all those boxes for me. I can also not stress enough how amazing it was to have so many hooks and racks to hang gear and towels. So many places forget that detail and it makes such a huge difference when everyone is in one room.

We had a wonderful stay at The Sanctuary! It is such a beautiful unique boutique hotel with attention to every detail. The common spaces are perfect for eating meals, relaxing, playing board games or planning your day and would be a great place to stay for a group. It is within walking distance of many stores and restaurants. We utilized the secure walk in storage container to store our bikes with our own bike locks. Our room was very nice with comfortable beds, plush towels and lots of hooks to hang up biking clothes and towels. The owners are easily accessible and respond quickly to questions. We look forward to staying here again!
