Brayton Park is a local favorite in Cranston, Rhode Island, perfect for families and dog owners looking for a welcoming place to unwind and play. Situated at 18 Brayton Ave, this pet-friendly park features accessible entrances and parking, making it easy for everyone to enjoy. With a pleasant, open atmosphere, you’ll find plenty of space to jog, walk your dog on scenic paths, or watch a little league softball game. The park’s amenities include paved paths, a large playground (that’s fenced and features rope structures, slides, and swings), several baseball fields, and picnic tables for a leisurely day outdoors.
While Brayton Park welcomes leashed dogs, pet owners should bring their own water and dog waste bags, as there aren’t designated dog-specific areas or amenities. The park is known for minimal shade—there’s just one large tree covering one field—so bringing an umbrella or tent is advised during sunny days. Families appreciate the accessibility, plentiful parking, and enjoyable walking and jogging routes, making Brayton Park a great pet-friendly spot for both kids and pups!
