Great campground. It was quite, and easy going. The campsites are walking distance from the lake. Dog friendly, and a playground for the kids. They also sell firewood in the campground. Definitely will be coming back.
This campground is beautiful! The hosts are fantastic, friendly and very knowledgeable of the area. The bathrooms and showers were cleaned and stocked all day. Great views, great camping spots, water views. They also have several camping spots set up for handicap camping. There is parking, all are near the bathrooms, raised camp spots for tents. We had a amazing water view and a private beach down a trail off the campsite. We will camp there again soon. They also have rec areas, a full playground, a field, a private camping area for large parties. You can reserve in advance as well.
The park was nice, but when I think of camping I think of lots of laughter and beer drinking ( for most, I don’t drink). You can’t have any alcohol and you can’t smoke weed or cigarettes ( I don’t do either, but I know some people that do). The view was pretty, but it was kinda sad to see no one was swimming or paddleboarding or any other water sports. You can’t fly drones. The campsites were extremely small and you were only allowed 2 tents per campsite ( which we didn’t see listed on the website). The curfew was 10pm but that was understandable. It just wasn’t very exciting or fun. If you are looking for a very relaxing, boring time than this is the place. Like I said the sights were beautiful but all the hiking trails were closed.
We had reservations for 3 nights recently in this tent only campground. Our campsite was large, not too close to neighbors . The camp hosts were friendly and kept the restrooms in great shape. The campsite itself was nothing spectacular…it was very poorly cared for. Looked like it was never raked and was pretty “grimey”. There were lots of families at this campsite enjoying the outdoors and the beautiful lake…but look out for the little kids on scooters-they were everywhere even racing around the restroom building and in and out of the paths that went everywhere…many were even barefoot!
We had a fun trip. Park has added some new sites and updated some of the tables, paths to bathrooms, hot water heaters for showers… etc. Overall still looks and feels like the place we’ve enjoyed multiple years. The camp hosts we met (Aaron and Casey) were wonderful people who we enjoyed chatting with. We wish you guys the best in all your future endeavors!! Thanks as always to PacifiCorp for providing a pretty little piece of nature on the lake for us all to enjoy.
