This place is a 💎!well stayed in the dome they built. It was Well equipped and easy to operate all the off grid “stuff”. Shelly and Adam gave very clear instructions on everything and even sent us a 📌 to find the place easily. We loved the off grid experience.the sauna was perfect for relaxing after a day if hiking and they had it prepped with plenty of wood for us. Tons of places to explore and hike right on the property. We loved the whole pavilion area and especially enjoyed falling asleep under the star the in the loft. Sunrise and sunset were both gorgeous but the resident ranch dogs and horses really stole the show and our hearts. Book it!

Adam and Shelly were great hosts, loved their place! Super friendly people, met us in person, and live right down the road (5 minute walk). This makes is super easy to ask for any help/anything needed. Super hospitable, Adam chopped a ton of wood for my friends and I to take advantage of their wood fire grill, fire pit and the wood stove sauna!! Shelly provided us recommendations of exploring the back part of their property with fun hikes and Adam even invited us over to his home to meet his horses – going above and beyond as hosts. Nights were beautiful, great sunsets and stars. You are also only 10 minutes from the entrance of Mesa Verde National Park, and 10 minutes from the town with restaurants. There is limited duration AC, however Adam has a unique “swamp cooler” alternative to running the AC, this was beyond effective in cooling the dome. The toilet is rather interesting, you have to use a pump to flush it. Not the most pleasant experience, but Adam said a septic tank is coming soon – should not be an issue for long. He explains how to use this as well, it is not a problem. We’d definitely come back in the future, great find, people and price too!

My fiance and I always take a few days to get away and have an adventure for my birthday. Last year Sept 2024 (yes, sorry review is late!) We drove all night, and Shelly was amazing with communication! Her and Adam met us at the dome we stayed at with a fire started and ligbts to help us. Shelly knew it was my birthday trip and left us a gift in the home as well. It was so sweet and thoughtful. We were the first ones to stay at the dome as a trial run, so a few things were still being figured out, but nothing too crazy. Definitely peaceful and quiet, and the star view at night is unbelievable! We enjoyed the vibe and the hospitality so much! Will return!
