FAQ for Cornwall Reservoir in Cornwall Pennsylvania:
Great hike tucked away in Cornwall. This is not a very popular hike as many people do not know about it. I’ve spent countless days here wondering, watching animals, collecting rocks, building a tee-pee, and just enjoying raw nature. It’s incredible to imagine all the work that was done here 50 years ago when the mine wasn’t flooded. There’s still remains of those times including a shack, a flooded down shaft, cable wiring everywhere, and piping of all varying sizes.

Nice quiet trail, not too hard for an older person!
A great place for a hike, I have been visiting this area since I was a kid. It used to be a secret family spot however nowadays it’s always full of people who don’t respect nature or the area. The small pond used to be full of wild trout that spawned in the creek but the only fish in the pond now is stocked bass.😕 The creek is still a good place to dig for fools gold.
