You can’t ever go wrong hiking in Black Rock! With so many trails to choose from, it never gets old. We love BRF, where we learn and see something new on every trip.

Starts steep, then gets better. Short cut to many points of view on the Hudson Valley and Manhattan

There is very limited parking here. Be respectful of the neighborhood and don’t park on the side of the road. Be respectful of the forest. Stay on the trails. Pick up your dog poop. Pack in pack out. Sit for a while at the Split Rock viewpoint. ✌️
