The best place to get away from it all. Really amazing landscape with a cave and waterfalls. Its a beautiful forest.
Decent trail for a hike. Not as well marked as a lot so make sure that you keep an eye on your surroundings.
Horse trails through this enormous state forest are a dog’s dream. Best dog walking space around because it’s so quiet and hardly anyone but locals go here.
An absolute small gem along the side of road. Don’t pass these little rest areas with picnic benches plus a beautiful trout stream. They are worth the stop to see, relax and enjoy.
Visited on a gray, dreary day and the deforestation project going on has left a very sad looking forest. The trail was black muck and not very well maintained. The good part of my ramble was it started to snow on the way back! Will return in the Spring when things are growing and green!
