The park is well maintained but not the tennis and basketball courts. It is spacious and clean. It is a good place to have a picnic. Not many people go there and eat. There is a Pavillion that is convenient.
I Live across the street from the park. The Tennis courts are old and dangerous. Playground is old and in need of replacement. Park itself is great! Just needs a lot of love. Pavilion is very nice and maintained. The parks best asset besides the great view!
In comparison to other public parks, this is the quiet one. Good place to have a family picnic, for example. FYI, in the fall and spring (IIRC), they have soccer on Sunday mornings. So, if you want to have the place to yourself, that’s not a good time to go. But it’s a big area with lots of space if you’re looking for somewhere to let the kids/pets go nuts for a while. And the playground equipment is well maintained (the tennis courts… not so much).
