Absolutely awesome place for our pups!!

We were visiting from Virginia and went on a hike dogs were not allowed. So we brought our puppy Olive. The staff seemed happy to have Olive for a visit. She was happy when we picked her up!! Thanks for watching our girl !

0 communication and introduction, no walk through, seemed understaffed. The girl who seemed to be the one handling my pup was not good with behaviors of shy Aussies who have a fear of people they don’t know. Which was stated in his profile. My dog came back to me extremely stressed out. I was told he didn’t do good, that he was nervous the whole time but I never received a call to come get him in a whole 6 hours. And I was told he had no recall, which is due to his fear of people he doesn’t know. My dog was panting, drinking a ton of water and refused to leave my side the rest of the night. I tried to reach out twice, once in email and once in the site message system. I never received an answer. I put in a request to deactivate my account, they have yet to do so.

Our two pups love coming to daycare and spending the night here. The staff seem to genuinely love their job and the dogs. They are very accommodating and don’t nickel-and-dime you like a lot of other pet resorts. The only thing I wish they’d add is cameras where our dogs sleep. Other than that their yard is huge so plenty of space for the pups to play and exercise and the hours of operation are good for most occasions.

Mr Magoo and Loki loved their experience with both day care and overnights during our recent camping trip back to the Finger Lakes. We highly recommend Happy Tails as we certainly will be repeat customers every year.
