FAQ for Dog Park at Love’s Travel Stops in Corning California:
I didn’t even know how to get here because the label said 2 for NULL and 2 for NULL.99. I bought 2 but the cashier took the NULL.99. When I asked why, she said “tax” but the check had tax on it. Also, you have to take these things into account.
Very big disappointment compared to the other dog park at Love’s we have been to. It was better than nothing but not by much. No poo bags here as the dispenser was empty so there was so much dog poop everywhere. I can’t blame it all on dog owners as if there are no bags to use. I ended up using our own bags and picked up over 10 piles of poop and barely made a dent but didn’t want my dogs to step in them. Went inside to tell employees and the guy I told gave me “who cares” type of reaction. Bunch of patches of mud.
Nice idea, but the place was filled with so much dog impossible big NO!
Could use poop bag refills and garbage emptied. But the thought is nice.
We are mid-interstate-move and this place was great to let our dog out to go potty (ofc we cleaned up after her!) and stretch her legs for a few minutes. It isn’t as close to the gas station as we expected, so we had to make two separate stops, but that’s ok.
