The park is also well-equipped for families, group gatherings, and outdoor enthusiasts, with restrooms, parking, and areas of shade and shelter throughout.
This park is amazing. Lots of history, landmarks, a New Almost Heaven swing, Hiking.. tons of Flowers in the spring and Mushrooms! Highly suggest Visiting the Fairy Door Trail and checking out our house we made! 🩷✨
A beautiful place for family gatherings with 3 pavilions
The park was very nice, well kept and everything was clean, no debris at all. My sister-in-law and I were in search of the Almost Heaven Tourism Swing. I do wish there were more signs leading people to the swing, but we hiked in 91° heat until we located it!!
The PA/WV Mason Dixon line was an excellent site for the swing.
There were some rental cabins, a venue for reunions or such, and a very nice baseball field. Overall, it is a lovely park.
Very wide and spacious park with playgrounds, ball field, basketball court , volleyball court, pavilions, party hall, stage area, walking trials (differing degrees of intensity), river access, and pet areas. Great for day trip and picnics. Can accommodate large functions. Both port a potties and bathroom buildings. Can view the historic Mason Dixon marker, it’s a lil bit of a hike, would not suggest for older ones. There is a very easy Fairy Trail.
Enjoyed a bridal shower at The Red Barn in the park. Very nice building, with two small open rooms, kitchen, and bathrooms. Great place for the bridal shower or other event. Kids played on the playground before leaving it was quite nice. Pavilion right next to playground and plenty of open grass for activities. Map of park by The Red Barn along with book library box and helping hands box (food). Nice park from what we saw.
