Overton Mountain Bike Trails in Coram, NY, offers a scenic and less-traveled trail system ideal for mountain biking and hiking. The trails feature moderate to difficult levels with some narrow, windy paths and natural terrain. It is a dog-friendly spot, although hikers should be mindful of ticks and occasional bothersome gnats. The area has minimal trail markings but connects to the Glacier Ridge trails, providing extended routes for longer adventures. It’s good for kids and suitable for those seeking a workout or a relaxed hike, with natural shade and wildlife sightings like deer.

I prefer Glacier Ridge if I were to just ride one of the trails, but if I’m looking for a long ride I’ll add on Overton. It’s much less travelled than GR and the trails are not as clearly marked – but that’s half the fun. As all CLIMB trails, it’s well maintained and cared for

Went on Monday for a hike. Saw only two bikers. It was a good and easy hike for about 2 hours. There was one portion of the trail where there is a very bad stench. May be it was coming from the construction nearby.

The trail marks are not really helpful but it’s not big enough to get lost. Saw a couple of deers on our way back.

It’s perfect for mountain biking. But hiking was okay on weekday.

A must try, Definitely Fun 🟦 trail, may be a bit tough for beginners but still good workout.
Definitely will try and will be coming back again.
I did the Overton Loop W/ Wild Turkey | ⬛️ which you find in the middle when coming back then you find Wild Turkey || ⬛️⬛️ but by having a taste of 1 I didn’t feel up to check it out this time around which is why I will be back.

I hiked the trail with my dog. The bicyclists were friendly, even though I was on THEIR trail. I liked the little ups and downs on the narrow, windy trails. The gnats were somewhat bothersome (August), and my dog came home with tick larvae, probably because we walked in the grass when we went off the bike trails.
