Gracieland is a welcoming, well-kept dog park conveniently located behind Ace Hardware and near the Toyota dealership on Pine Ave in Coos Bay, Oregon. Known for its peaceful atmosphere and friendly visitors, this small grassy park offers a secure, fenced-in area where dogs can stretch their legs and play off-leash. Shaded by mature trees and featuring both sunny spots and plentiful shade, it’s an ideal place for locals and travelers alike to let their pups burn off some energy.
While compact and simpler than some larger dog parks, Gracieland stands out for its cleanliness, reliable upkeep, and convenient features like a picnic table for owners and availability of waste bags (when stocked). A small kiddie pool, when set up, adds water fun for canine visitors, but guests should bring their own water, especially during warmer months. Free parking is easily accessible, and the park offers a peaceful retreat right in town for dogs of all sizes, though it’s best suited for small or low-energy pups who don’t need a ton of space.
It’s a nice little place to take your dog to use the bathroom because they can walk around off a leash. However it is not very big. It only has one gate to go in and out so you have to be very careful no other dogs get out when you go in. There is no water so if you plan on letting your dog play make sure you bring your own water and water dish. It was pretty clean and it’s all grass and has a nice picnic table to sit at. A small dog would get enough exercise here but to small for a medium to large dog.

Very well maintained little dog park. Lots of baggies, no poop anywhere. Great place for pups to stretch their legs if ona long journey. Thank you for having a park here! It’s really neat!

Nice little dog park, friendly pups. Beware there is a water thing in the ground for drinking that makes mud. Yeehaw had a wonderful time but she needs a bath now!

Cute little dog park in Coos Bay behind Ace Hardware and the Toyota dealership. It’s never crowded and my pups enjoy running around (they enjoy chasing/racing the cars that drive by). The fence is on the shorter side, which can be an issue for some. Glad to have this little park in town.

Ok- the grass is green and kept up with.
Cons- it’s not a park. It’s a yard. A play area. Some place where Fido can play with a fence. And that’s really it. It’s a nice gesture by the Toyota dealership,
But more space would be good.
