Really beautiful park with nice grassy open area! There are lots of picnic tables around for taking a break or eating a picnic together. Super dog friendly, lots of space for them to run around. Just a beautiful well-maintained Park!
What a great place to go and relax, bring the fur babies, or go fishing. Wonderful views, and wide open spaces. This is pretty much a very large dog park. No leashes required, be aware not all animals will get along with one another, but I’ve only seen happy fun dogs having a great time running free!
**UPDATED- 04/08/2022Changed my rating to 5 stars** Thanks for fixing the parking area!Also a cool place to bring a dog!I really do like this area because you can actually go there and have a little picnic in the picnic area just about 150 yards from the water.The reason I only scored this with three stars is because the entry into the parking lot has a lot of potholes and it is just horrible. I wish the city or the county or the state would get in there and put a new blacktop in.
Great place to watch the sunrise. Theres a bathroom,free parking,boat ramp,and dock in a deep sheltered cove. One could probably launch a 20′ sailboat with a nonmoving keel here.
