Prestwick Commons Park is a charming neighborhood park located at 9100 Misty Dawn Dr, right in the heart of Columbus, Ohio. This dog-friendly park welcomes pets, making it a great spot for families and dog owners looking for a peaceful place to relax and play. Known for its wheelchair-accessible entrance and being nestled within a quiet residential area, the park offers a serene experience with low traffic, perfect for a quick outing or an afternoon retreat. While the park does not have a dedicated dog park area or off-leash sections, leashed dogs are welcome to join their families throughout the space.
The park features a well-maintained playground with swings and slides, making it ideal for children, and a small shelter house with picnic tables for families to gather. Visitors enjoy the covered shelter as well as the natural shade provided by the trees. While parking can be a challenge (mostly street parking along the road), the convenience of the park’s location for local residents makes it a beloved gathering spot. Nearby, you might even meet local canine friends, such as Rex, a neighborhood dog frequently spotted around the park!
This park is very nice has a nice shelter and a nice playground
Small park off the road in a residential area. Small shelter house with four tables and a small playground. Nice place to meet a friend outdoors.
Very nice playground and shelterhouse.
not much there, no parking, but it has a swingset and a playset. and the person who lives right next to the park has a dog named rex and he let us pet him (he was very soft)
Super cute park with low traffic. The only reason there isn’t 5 stars was parking! I wish it had a small parking lot instead of parking along the road 🤣 other than that it was great to let my kids out of the car while traveling.
