Good for walking during the day. Dog park available for people who need to let their dogs play in an open space. Walking path under Livingston Avenue that allows access to Far East Community Center. Very close to local high school Walnut Ridge. Lots of Canadian Geese show up during their migration season.
Beautiful scenery around the lake area. Lots of small birds, geese and ducks to watch. Saw some turtles and other wildlife in the lake. It’s also has a huge dog park with individual parks for large and small dogs.
A really nice scenic area and recreation center.
Loved the split small/big dog parks! If only people picked up their dogs poop with the FREE provided bags. Beautiful place!
Great park. The fenced dog park is great, with lots of shade and picnic tables inside and lots of room for the dogs to run. And just across the field past the pond, there’s a dirt path to Big Walnut Creek which was perfect for my dog! The creek is clean and clear and some areas might be deep enough for swimming but my dog just laid down in the shallows. Great for a hot day.
