Zemmer Park is a quiet, family-friendly park in Columbiaville, MI, accessible for wheelchair users with available parking. It offers hiking and kid-friendly trails that loop through a small, easily navigable area. The park is great for fishing, swimming, and spending time outdoors, though visitors should be cautious of some natural hazards like sharp objects in the water and occasional snakes. It’s a nice place to swim at, but a snake almost bit me. Plus there are some sharp objects in the water .
We have had a great time here taking our boat out and fishing. The water is beautiful and it is quite peaceful in certain areas. My biggest problem is with rude and ignorant people who refuse to obey clearly posted rules. There isn’t a parking “lot” so people think they can just park anywhere regardless if they are blocking traffic.
This is lovely, quiet little park. Very lightly trafficked, especially off season. There are a number of small, interlinking paths. All trails are unmarked, some are easy to lose but it’s not a very big area, and all the trails are loops so you’re unlikely to get lost. Terrain is easy enough for children
Always a fun place to hang out. Some days are quiet and good for fishing and the hotter days turn into a fun party
Great play to fish and get your truck dirty.
